888poker Launches Exciting New Global Poker League with LIVE Package Top Prize!

888poker is pleased to announce the launch of the Global Poker League for our dotcom players. The exciting new venture aims to build community, engagement, and loyalty while offering a unique way for players to interact with the 888poker brand.

This league appeals to recreational players as it features lower buy-ins and special freerolls to secure a tournament seat.

With a small commitment, players can unlock a wealth of prizes by participating in the monthly league, which consists of only four tournaments each.

How to Secure a Global League Tournament Ticket

Each week, we will run special freerolls where 50 players can win a ticket to the main weekly tournaments.

• 3 weekly freerolls (Thursday – Saturday) — 50 seats GTD

For November, the freerolls will take place on the following dates:

These freerolls are password-protected, and players must do the following to receive the password:

2. Comment on the dedicated IG post

Note: Passwords are revealed publicly shortly before the freeroll starts.

Alternatively, players can buy in directly to all four monthly tournaments for the low purchase price of $5.50. Each of these weekly events boasts a $1,000 prize pool.

League Leaderboard Structure

Each player receives points based on their finishing position in the tournament and the total number of participants.

For example, if a tournament has 400 players, the player finishing first receives 400 points, the player finishing second receives 399 points, and so on, down to the player finishing 400th, who receives one point.

Participation bonuses:

1. Any player who plays all four monthly tournaments earns +50 extra points towards their overall standing.
2. Each week, 888poker’s official Instagram page will run a contest, where five winners will receive 50 points each.

At the end of the League, the total score from all tournaments combined will determine the final leaderboard. The top twenty players with the highest accumulated scores will be the League winners.

The leaderboard prizes are top-tier, offering players the chance to win substantial live event packages, tournament tickets and 888poker merchandise.
